Creative Writing Submission Guidelines
The submission
What to send with your creative writing proposal.
- Abstract
- Title of a finished literary work (book-length or collection), published or unpublished; genre; description of the creative writing project; and initial notes on craft and personal poetics
- Length
- 500 to 700 words
- Attachment
- The finished literary work in non-editable PDF, submitted together with the abstract
Guidelines
Presentation and theme requirements.
AConference presentation
The presentation during the conference should contain the following:
- Description of the creative writing project
- Summary of the literary work
- Literary tradition and genre theory or criticism
- Notes on the craft and personal poetics
- Reading of excerpts
BConference theme
Literary works and critical notes should adhere to the Conference Theme.
