Abstract

This materials development paper features the development and implementation of a career development module for De La Salle University students enrolled in the SAS3000 course. The module to be presented focuses on the topic of career decision-making and aims to bring value to self-knowledge as the foundation for the process of making a career choice. It also aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complex landscape of career options, identify their strengths and interests (through a review of their PCK results), and ultimately make well-informed decisions that align with their personal and professional goals. The module utilizes the CASVE (Communication, Analysis, Synthesis, Valuing, and Execution) framework as an approach to guide students in their career journey and help them make informed choices about their future.
