Abstract/Summary
Going into the Mind of a Generation Z, Die-Hard, Marcos Loyalist is a 17 minute documentary highlighting the psychological factors that contribute to the strong feeling of support of those under the ‘Gen Z’ demographic towards the Marcoses. This explores the ideas on environmental influence, lack of information, education, and elaboration that leads to misinterpretation, historical revisionism, idolatry, and logical fallacies. Following One (1) main Marcos loyalists, Harvey Pinto, we magnify the connection between devotion and influence through additional Gen-Z, Marcos loyalists, sociologists, filipino and history experts that further elaborate and interpret the cause of this firm attitude. The concept of the proponent will be fully expressed with the use of real-life footage and unfiltered content through the subjects and interviews, as well as visual aid from online outlets. This proponent aims to create a connection with Gen-Z, Marcos loyalists and other unique demographics and lobby for counter-measures towards fallacious political propaganda.
