Abstract/Summary
This project is a 3 series, 15-minute video podcast that talks about “The Add to Cart Syndrome”. The video podcast will cover its definitions, factors, addressing the problems, and solutions. In the first episode, guesting on the pilot episode of Add to Cart is Rona Vicencio who is an HR and Internship Coordinator of Cut Print Podcast Network. The researcher and Ms. Vicencio will be talking about online shopping behavior and the problems we face when it comes to impulsive purchases and the factors contributing to it. For the second episode, we have Jean De Leon, a social media manager for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the Philippines. Jean and the researcher talk about how social media could play as an instigator when it comes to impulsive buying behavior. Lastly, Ms. Ayana Dela Cruz, a DLSU-D psychologist where she talks about the disadvantages and advice for consumers suffering from Impulsive buying disorders. The aim of this project is to spread awareness and start a discussion about online shopping behavior. Building a healthy spending habit which people can take lightly due to the fact most people have money to spend on products they see online.
