Abstract/Summary

This paper is intended to provide a brief, comprehensible and complete report of the implementation of an international private line connectivity for Korea Embassy. The author aims to present the total network solution, which involves the network design and the provisioning of the said project.
Chapter one presents the company profile and the business description of PLDT. Also, it includes the objectives and the significance of the practicum.
The second chapter discusses the program of activities, as well as the type of training undergone by the author in the said company. Moreover, some key concepts for time division multiplexing, performance measurements and common tests are discussed in order to provide the readers with some theoretical background regarding these topics, which are essential in the understanding of the project.
In chapter three, the project proper is presented. It discussed the network design and the procedures involved in the provisioning of the project. In addition, the different problems encountered as well as its corresponding solutions are given focus.
Finally, the last chapter contains the trainee's assessment, conclusions and recommendations based on her experience in executing the practicum, which can be helpful for future references.
