Abstract/Summary

The thesis is an expository work based on the main part of the paper Application of Linear Algebra in Calculus (1997) by Jack W. Rogers, Jr. This thesis introduces an alternative way of solving some calculus problems. Here, we discuss the use of matrix in integration, the application of change-of-basis in integrating the powers of sine and cosine and the use of matrices in solving differential equations. Illustrations and examples are shown here for a better understanding of the objectives of the study.
