Abstract/Summary

A number of researches on different visual cryptography algorithms have been made. Unfortunately, most of the researches focus only on one algorithm. Currently, there is no research that has done a comparison on the different visual cryptography schemes on colored images against each other. Also, there have been very few attempts on applying these algorithms on real world scenarios.

The research performed a comparative study and analysis of different visual cryptographic schemes on colored images. The research was able to explore possible applications of visual cryptography schemes on colored images like sports, military, and blueprints that require different standards in both speed and quality. The speed and quality requirements have been determined in the said applications. Hybrid and improved algorithms have been developed and tested based on the analysis made to fit into the applications stated.
