Abstract/Executive Summary
Physical attractiveness is often associated with various advantages, leading to the concept of "pretty privilege.” This study aimed to explore the social experiences of male Senior High School students who are considered physically attractive or have pretty privileges. This paper used a phenomenological design and obtained data through semi-structured interviews that were analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings revealed a range of positive and negative experiences that the male students encountered. Some of these social experiences are receiving compliments, being given more opportunities, being called a womanizer, and being expected to be smart and always look attractive.
