Abstract/Executive Summary
JewelryLane started with five (5) ABM students of De La Salle University Integrated School, sparked by their creative and simple solution for a start-up business by utilizing their knowledge of social entrepreneurship, inspired by SDG numbers 3, 5, and 12. JewelryLane, birthed in early 2023, is a venture that campaigns awareness through fashion statement accessories. Recognizing the feasibility, significant market share, and high industry profitability, JewelryLane offers two product lines; for the flagship product, the business introduced handcrafted bracelets, and for product diversification, JewelryLane decided to have three collections along with their keychains, phone charms, and customized necklaces. The startup beaded jewelry business operates as a Sole Proprietorship for cost-effective reasons; JewelryLane proves it by garnering Php 22,756 gross sales in one day from a Php 20,000 three-month-investment–Php 4,000 contribution per member. JewelryLane successfully launched its collections on March 13, 2024. Owner Ms. Ellyza Vienne Quiat achieved this together with Operations Officer Ms. Trixie Elena Zonio, Marketing Officer Ms. Shaira Karel Dimayuga, Finance Officer Ms. Yvon Gerstel Ventanilla, and Human Resource Officer Mr. Dan Miguel Miranda–her brilliant, flexible, and resilient team. They promote JewelryLane through video advertisements and product teasers on social media platforms. Their pride in the products and product design–personally handcrafted and created by the members–is unmatched. As of June 30, 2024, JewelryLane’s total capital is Php 36,616. In the future, if one member wants to continue the business, everyone agrees to approve and legally register the company and follow what the government requires.
